Not reliable July 16, 2010 Geno It's cheap, that's the reason I bought it. But it disappointed me quite a lot. It's very unreliable. The service quits a lot and it restarts by itself from time to time. I can't not finishing watching a youtube video. So, I won't recommend any one to buy it.
Constantly drops wireless June 19, 2010 Joe (Western USA) Drops wireless several times daily. However drops are inconsistent. When I get angry at it, I don't create a unique network name and don't hide it, at which time it remains visible for a week or so. When I want to secure my network, it may go for a week, but it often drops at least once daily. D-Link support doesn't do any good. Don't bother with this router. Caveat emptor.
No problems in 15+months... March 5, 2010 Rodolfo Breve (Just out there...) I bought this cheap router back in Dec '08, and it has not given me any problems with connection drop at all, strong steady signal throughout the day! Seems that I was one lucky buyer, but in fact I bought this with lots of fear that it would fail the same way almost 90% of other buyers have reported. Glad to say that I'm quite happy with it, but its time to move on and get a wireless-N router.
Drops connection constantly February 23, 2010 S. Mittal The title says it all. If all you're doing is surfing the internet, it's just annoying. If you're attempting to get some work done, it'll make you much less productive.
Cost me dozens of hours February 9, 2010 M. Voelkel I've put up with this router for nearly 18 months. There has not been a period of more than 12 hours where I've had a reliable wireless signal. It drops CONSTANTLY. Online gaming is simply a no-go with this POS. To make it worse - it also drops all WIRED connections when it fails. This has caused embarrassment more than once, since I work at home and often share my work with others in real-time. I'm going to try a Linksys WBT54GL - it seems to be a winner. I'll try to report back after a month.
