Lousy Router July 22, 2010 Theodore Wierzbic (Roanoke, VA) I owned a Linksys Wireless G router, which I loved. I never had any trouble with it. My son-in-law talked me into upgrading to the Linksys Wireless N router. It has been a disaster! I can no longer access my printer wireless. To print I have to connect the USB connection. My friends that visit, cannot connect to my wireless network. They can see it, but they can't connect. The router will occasionally drop all service. The only way I can restore the network, is to completely shut down both of my computers, and unplug the router. I hate this router!
Horrible router and Horrible Customer Service July 21, 2010 E. Ali (Michigan) I purchased this product on 8/24/09. After being on the phone with off-shore tech support for over an hour, I still could not get it to work. Then, the support guy had to get off the phone so he could go to work and told me to call back to talk to someone else. Unbelievable. So, my sister made a suggestion that I try to configure it on my laptop instead on my desktop- something that was not suggested ANYWHERE in the installation guides- and that worked. Now, on 7/16/10, I opened my laptop and no internet. I have been trying everything to get this router to work and it simply will not. Both computers work when wired directly to the modem, but not through the router. So, I try to contact Cisco, and they tell me the router is past its one-year warranty. My mistake was that I threw away the receipt when I got it working, because Linksys was supposed to be the "best" router. I do have a bank statement and phone bill that shows when I purchased it and sat on the phone for over an hour, but I need the receipt and Target said they cannot reprint one from almost a year ago. I would not be so upset about it not working, but their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I paid for your product, the least you could do is offer support for it.
Fantastic Router July 11, 2010 Husain (Chicago, IL) I bought it at a really great price. I thought this was really a steal from amazon. It is really a great gadget for such an unbeatable price. Works perfectly perfect. Easy instructions and easy setup and all that. I like the design as well. Overall, it works like a charm. I would highly recommend the people to buy this product. It's well worth the money spent, and more than that.

RUNNNN No Support July 10, 2010 Chuck (Upstate NY) When I first got this router it fixed issues from my old Linksys G router. I thought all was good. Then I noticed that my stock trading software disconnected once daily. Having seen this issue before with linksys at work I immediately looked into the DHCP lease time issue. What happens is the router drops the connection at a predetermined time and asks for a new IP. it takes a couple of seconds. You normally get you same IP back.
1. I would like to turn this OFF!!!
2. I would like the router to at least let me decide when the timeout will occur.
3. Would be nice if it was seemless.
I decided to look up the solution. And what I found was 100's of users with the exact same problem begging linksys support for a solution since the day it was released.
What did they get back on linksys support board after a year plus of begging ! NOTHING !!!
Dont buy this if you need a reliable connection ... I hear that DLINK routers are reliable.
I have had 2 linksys at home and a bunch at work ... they are always a head ache.
Don't buy this June 30, 2010 scythe101 My experience with this product is pure garbage. It is so hard to get a signal. This in fact is a waste of money. So fustrating and not worth buying. The star I had to give this product is not deserving of any stars. I do not suggest buying this mainly if you live in a small apartment or have to travel motel to motel. Well I would not buy this period!!!
