Got this to manage my ethernet connections behind my TV... Does all I need it to do, and was at a great price.. It helped speed up the internet connections for my X-Box and Bluray player quite a bit over my 10/100 switch that I had in before.. Well worth the money..

I bought one of these earlier this year and it went bad. I called D-Link and they were nice but it took forever to get an RMA number. Then you find you have to return everything in the box including the CD and rubber feet! This thing has a three year warranty so be advised to keep everything together with proof of purchase. Then it cost me almost about half of what it cost to buy the unit just to ship it back. They will cross ship with a credit card but it will take up to 30 days to see the credit back. To be fair the unit worked well and I had no issues with it until it failed.

I connected this switch to my home network and did not need to configure anything as I expected. Now I have a few more LED's lit in my computer room. I am currently using only one port but so far that port seems to work well enough. That port is used to connect my Directv HD DVR. I am still able to watch DVR recordings on my computer using the DIRECTV2PC application with only a few (2) very minor screen or sound stutters. I have watched three shows and the two stutter problems only manifested themselves on the first viewing. I also have a few other optional computer services running that I can suspend if I suspect they might be part of the problem. Bottom line - I like this product and think it was priced fairly.

Easy hookup of 3 Xbox consoles and PC. Blazing and solid performance. Not much more I can write other than this product warrants the 5-star ratings.

Surprisingly cool in operation for prolonged periods. Runs well with no need to reset it periodically (as I have found with some other switches). I have used it in a VOIP network and it handles voice and data wonderfully well.
