Product fails on many levels July 29, 2010 Robert Neary (Corvallis, OR United States) 1. Instructions are in Spanish only.
2. Miniature CD had problems reading in one CD drive.
3. After installing, system tray shows "no card present", so...
4. Tried a re-boot: BLACK SCREEN, would not even begin to boot until card was removed.
I am a retired network administrator; I've installed hundreds of products, I am accustomed to the installation quirks and the need to download updated drivers. But when the hardware in the PCI slot prevents POST and CMOS pre-operating system boot, that is a non-starter.
This is partially my fault for not sticking with KNOWN manufacturers such as D-Link, LinkSys, and Cisco. This product wasted my time and my money.
O/S: Windows XP Professional.
Sabrent Wi-Fi June 18, 2010 Stephen M. Leon (Lynn Haven, FL) The adapter works just fine and was a good value. Installation was easy and the software worked first time. The computer is located in the next room over from the router, so I can't comment on range.
Poor description June 9, 2010 J. Woo (New York, NY) I've bought it for my desktop PC which is mini tower type.
But this LAN card is only for regular size desktops which is not described in the description.
I had to return it as soon as I received.
Don't care about the brand. April 26, 2010 Qian 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is not a famous brand, and I got it cheap. It works well for me more than 6 months with not hustle installation.
Won't connect to Apple 802.11n WPA or WPA2 April 23, 2010 Jerone B. Gibson (California) I can connect as a plane jane - would like to have working encryption.
