Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Powerline AV 4-port Network Adapter lets you easily create a network using the existing electrical outlets in your home. Now you don't have to drill holes in walls and climb through the attic or cellar to install network cables -- just use the wires that already run through the building. The Powerline AV 4-port Network Adapter connects computers, or any other wired Ethernet device, using the HomePlug AV network standard. Adding devices to the network is as simple as plugging the Powerline AV 4-port Adapter into an electrical outlet, and connecting up to four Ethernet-equipped devices to the built-in Ethernet ports. Additional devices can be connected to the same network using additional Powerline AV Adapters plugged into an electrical outlet anywhere in the house....

Easy network system August 1, 2010 Bill Clinton (Earth) This is a really great product. I had bought my first set to connect my XBOX to the web. I bought another these on Amazon to connect to printers to my network swo both my laptops and desktop could use either printer. It uses your existing electrical wiring via an electrical outlet so no need to install ethernet cables throughout your house. In fact it provides you the freedom to move your network system to another room. I recommend anyone who is thinking about setting up a network system in their home. I'm thinking about buying a server now.
Easy to set-up and never fail. May 19, 2010 Robert Cunningham (Wilbraham, MA USA) I've bought and installed 4 of these and they've never failed. Speed always exceeds that of my previous wireless network.
A great,cost-effective option for a high speed home network. April 26, 2010 Mountain Geek (Eagle, CO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Linksys PLS300 Powerline adapter is easy to set up and works flawlessly. I use it to provide network connectivity to my wireless system as well as my DVR and Blu-Ray player. Streaming from Netflix and other video providers looks amazing. I love this product!
Very easy internet anywhere in the house March 12, 2010 Everett L. Scott (W. Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This works awesome. I have these hooked up to my Dish Network DVR's so I can use my iphone app to set shows to record anywhere i am. I have cable internet and it was as simple as hooking it up and that's it. I didn't have to configure anything on my pc or do anything special to my cable modem. They have worked flawlessly and just the way i thought they would. I highly recommend these because they are so easy to set up and work exactly how the description says they do.I have also used this on my Xbox 360 as well and it worked just fine online with Bad Company 2.
Simple, Easy to install, works very well February 25, 2010 Bunker Hill (Sugar Land, TX USA) It is very easy to use, and works as advertised. My only complaint is that the overall bandwidth is a bit low, but I'm also spoiled. This was added as a second 4-port adapter in addition to a PLK300.
I use it for a SlingBox HD, BluRay, TV, and computers. No issue with any of these.
